Abstract
Phytophotodermatitis from Dictamnus alba was observed in three patients. Thin-layer chromatography and spectrophotometry disclosed the occurrence of 5-methoxypsoralen and 8-methoxypsoralen in the plant extracts which was also demonstrated by their phototoxic activity in vitro. Keywords
