Abstract
An expression is developed for the spin-disorder resistivity for metallic rare-earth systems; it takes into account the effect of the crystalline electric field. The expression, which is general, is made use of to treat the case of in Ce; its resistivity-temperature behavior is adequately accounted for on the basis of a doublet ground state.
