Abstract
The strong-field behavior of a three-body quantum system analogous to a negative ion has been investigated by solving Schrödinger’s equation nonperturbatively for two electrons on a two-dimensional lattice. Both photodetachment and core ionization have been studied, and we find that photospectral time dependence distinguishes between direct and stepwise ionization routes for the inner electron. Keywords
