MAGNETIC PENETRATION DEPHT IN GRANULAR Al-Al2O3 FILMS

Abstract
The magnetic pénétration depth λ in granular Al-Al2O3 superconducting films has been measured as a function of the normal state resistivity ρn and température T. It was found that λ ∝ ρ1/2n up to resistivities of the order of 10000 µΩ-cm. The degradation of SQUID performance on increasing λ will be discussed
