Abstract
To the Editor: The rapid growth of knowledge of human chromosomes in a number of laboratories, following advances in technical methods, has given rise to several systems by which the chromosomes are named. This has led to confusion in the literature and so to the need for resolving the differences. Consequently, at the suggestion of Dr. C. E.
