Abstract
Focal extracellular recording was made from presynaptic motor nerve terminals made visible directly in in vitro preparations of mouse intercostalis intimi muscles. The demonstration of a net inward current distally in these terminals at sites of transmitter release allow the conclusion that the mammalian terminal is electrically excitable, contrary to a recent claim that it is not. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
