Abstract
The pressure pulse patterns in various arteries are described in terms of the filling and emptying of the arterial tree and the added reflected waves which are contributed by the various arteries. It is shown that these waves are reflected from constricted arterioles and that the form of the pulse may be used to evaluate the role of vasodilation in producing a hypotension. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
