Abstract
The effect of a quaternary nitrogen compound, Emepronium bromide (Cetiprin), on micturition parameters was investigated. In seven healthy subjects, a pronounced effect on the intravesical pressure and on the urinary flow was found with a decrease of 32 mmHg and 13 ml/sec, respectively. All subjects developed residual urine together with an increase in pulse rate after the administration of the drug. No effect on the systolic blood pressure was noted. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
