Abstract
Preview Thanks to advances in health awareness and medical care, the elderly population continues to grow. But with added years of life comes an increase in age-related cognitive impairment and resulting behavioral problems (eg, agitation, wandering) that must be addressed by institutions and physicians. The authors describe patient evaluation and summarize approaches for initial and continuing treatment of behavioral problems related to dementia. Keywords
