Abstract
The de Haas-van Alphen effect has been measured in the intermetallic compound Al2Cu, and the band structure has been calculated by the LMTO method. The theory provides a reasonable explanation of some low frequencies, and gives excellent agreement with one major larger-frequency branch, but fails to account for other major branches. Keywords
