Abstract
Summary White male mice maintained on a diet containing 0·1 per cent, of 2:2-bis-(p-chlorophenyl)-1:1-dichloroethane and mice injected subcutaneously thrice weekly with an oily solution at a dosage of 20 mg./100 g. of body weight, for periods up to 6 weeks failed to exhibit a significantly decreased response to cold stress as compared with the untreated controls. The drug did not significantly decrease the adrenal weights of the treated groups.
