Abstract
A 24-year-old woman was admitted for left hemiparesis of sudden onset. She had no vascular risk factors. Three months before admission, she experienced two episodes of generalized seizures in the context of sleep deprivation. EEGs were normal. Two months later, she had two episodes of transient right hemiparesis. She never experienced headaches during or after these episodes. Head CT scan, cervical Doppler, and transthoracic echocardiography were normal. Routine blood tests, autoimmune screening, and lumbar puncture were normal. Keywords
