THE EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF RUPTURED ABDOMINAL ANEURYSM

Abstract
Three cases of ruptured arteriosclerotic aneurysm of the abdominal aorta are presented. Roentgenograms of the abdomen taken in five cases were of great diagnostic value. Early diagnosis will permit utilization of surgery and markedly decrease mortality. Six of the 18 cases presented here were operated on with success, but in two this was temporary. A seventh patient died during operation.
