Abstract

Although zeolite-encapsulated [Rh(CO)_x(PR₃)_y](PR₃= PEt₃, PEt₂Ph, PPrⁿ ₃ or PPh₃) give similar chemoselectivities in the hydrocarbonylation of hex-1-ene relative to their homogeneous analogues, the linear : branched ratio can be increased by as much as 10 times.
