Improved regioselectivity in the hydroformylation reaction catalysed by zeolite-encapsulated rhodium(I) species

Abstract
Although zeolite-encapsulated [Rh(CO)x(PR3)y](PR3= PEt3, PEt2Ph, PPrn 3 or PPh3) give similar chemoselectivities in the hydrocarbonylation of hex-1-ene relative to their homogeneous analogues, the linear : branched ratio can be increased by as much as 10 times.
