Effects of DMBA on Melanocytes in Culture

Abstract
The carcinogen, dimethylbenzanthracene (DMBA), selectively destroys guinea pig melanocytes in vitro. Cytotoxicity of DMBA appears to be unrelated to the pigmenting capacity of the cells.
