Abstract
GC analysis of the essential oil of wild Sicilian Thymus capitatus showed the presence of 31 compounds. The main components, accounting for 90.5% of the oil, were carvacrol (86.3%), β-caryophyllene (2.8%) and α-elemol (1.4%).Keywords
