Abstract
The effects of electromagnetically induced spin-dependent potentials on the analyzing power for low-energy proton-proton scattering are calculated using the Coulomb-distorted-wave Born approximation. The amplitudes which arise from these potentials are nearly in phase with the usual Coulomb amplitude and as a result the potentials have virtually no effect on the analyzing power. Keywords
