ACTION OF PROCAINAMIDE, QUINIDINE AND CHLOROQUINE UPON THE CONDUCTION SYSTEM OF THE DOG'S HEART (HISTOCHEMICAL STUDY)

Abstract

The effect of quinidine, chloroquine and procainamide on the conducting system of the dog was studied histochemically. There was inhibition of succinic dehydrogenase when chloroquine was administered intravenously and of alpha esterase when procainamide was used.
