Calculation of the magnetic susceptibility of a cerium Kondo system in the Anderson model

Abstract
We have calculated the magnetic susceptibility of a cerium Kondo system in the Anderson model by a perturbation expansion up to fourth order, for temperatures TTK. An evaluation of the Kondo temperature is given. In the dilute system La1xCexAl2 (x0.02), the agreement between calculated and experimental values is very good. The comparison between susceptibility measurements of CeIn3 and calculated values shows that the Kondo temperature of this compound is high, in agreement with the analysis of its resistivity curve.
