Abstract
The dipole method is applied for determining the surface yoltage gradient in a bundle conductor. The analysis leads to accurate results for subconductor spacing to subconductor diameter ratios as low as 3. An easy method to determine the surface voltage gradient, at any point on the bundle conductor by means of charts, is indicated. This can be done for any number of subconductors from 2 to 12.Keywords
