Abstract
A 1117cc Ford Valencia SI engine was used to investigate the influence on emissions of relatively large (10-30%) additions of ethanol to gasoline. The ethanol was shown to extend the lean burn range and improve the specific energy consumption in the lean burn region. Addition of ethanol significanKeywords
