Abstract
Evidence is presented of the presence of lactylepinephrine and lactylnorepinephrine in addition to epinephrine and nor-epinephrine in an extract of an adrenal medullary tumor. The esters are believed to be artifacts produced by the method of extraction employed. A pharmacological test demonstrated that these esters are relatively inactive compared with the parent amines. Keywords
