Abstract
If during inspiration, the trachea is occluded, inspiration is prolonged. 2 reflexes are of importance for this reaction, one from the volume of the lung, the other from the resistance in the respiratory tract. A method has been designed to study both reflexes separately and together. The lung vol. reflex (prolongation) seems to be diminished by the coexisting resistance reflex (intensification). Keywords
