Determination of theω→π+π−Decay Amplitude from Photoproduction

Abstract
Interference between ρ0 and ω photoproduced from carbon, aluminum, and lead has been studied in the 2π decay mode. The branching ratio (ω2π)(ω3π) is 2.8 ± 0.6%. The phase difference between the decay amplitudes ω2π and ρ02π is 63° ± 16°.
