Abstract
A case of sporadic occult insulinoma treated by laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy using a laparoscopic ultrasound probe to facilitate localization of the insulinoma and a laparoscopic surgical stapler to transect the pancreas is presented. This is believed to be the first case description of a laparoscopic pancreatic resection. Keywords
