Abstract
A case is reported of isolated anomalous drainage of the inferior vena cava into the left atrium, the second in the literature and the first with catheterization data and dyedilution curves. The anomaly is reflected by a well-defined clinical syndrome, is compatible with full cardiac competence at least until middle life, and should be relatively simple to correct surgically. Keywords
