Abstract
The exclusion of prostatic carcinoma in TUR specimens represents a considerable problem for the histopathologist. A technique for the separation of tissue on an anatomical basis which has been carried out on 50 patients is presented. It permits more representative histological sampling of TUR specimens and more accurate characterisation of prostatic carcinoma, but further refinement is recommended. Keywords
