Abstract
The intravenous administration of synthetic oxytocin to healthy and alloxan-diabetic dogs results in a marked decrease in the concentration of plasma free fatty acids. These observations are in accord with the demonstration that oxytocin exerts an insulin-like action on epididymal adipose tissue "in vitro".Keywords
