Abstract
The ultraviolet absorption spectrum of quinazoline vapor due to the n–π* transition was photographed and analysed. The lowest n–π* transition has its origin at 27581 cm−1, and consists of two strong and prominent progressions, 515 and 784 cm−1. The vibrational analysis of the strong bands is reported on.Keywords
