CaAl2Se4 und SrAl2Se4 — Strukturvarianten des TlSe-Typs / CaAl2Se4 and SrAl2Se4 -Variants of the TlSe-Structure

Abstract

CaAl₂Se₄ and SrAl₂Se₄ have been prepared and their crystal structures determined. They crystallize orthorhombically, space group Cccm, with the lattice constants: CaAl₂Se₄: a = 633 ± 1pm, b = 1048 ± 1pm, c = 1053 ± 1pm; SrAl₂Se₄: a = 627 ± 1 pm, b = 1082 ± 1 pm, c = 1085 ± 1 pm. The structures of these compounds are closely related both to each other and to the TlSe-structure.
