Abstract
A method has been developed for measurements of heart output by the use of electrokymography. This method gives a measure of antero-posterior thickness of the heart in both systole and diastole. It is possible that the method will prove to be superior to ballistocardiography for measurement of heart output and will supply additional information such as heart size and contractile power. Keywords
