Abstract
The procedure for determining sugar content of corn tissue from analysis of expressed sap is described. By this procedure the sugar content can be determined as accurately as by alcoholic extraction of the tissue. It is concluded that the composition of corn tissue with respect to any constituent in true solution in the sap can be determined from an analysis of the expressed sap. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
