Abstract
The magnetization and specific heat of this salt are analyzed using self‐consistently renormalized spinwave theory including second‐neighbor effects. Unlike previous work, we embody in our calculations the fact that the Curie temperature is 0.88°K and the relation of exchange constants to TC afforded by the results of high‐temperature expansions. If the magnetisation data is plausibly modified, we find good agreement up to 0.85TC for that property and tolerable agreement for the specific heat to the same temperature. The required sums over the Brillouin zone have been evaluated by a novel method. Keywords
