Your committee realizes that attempts to standardize tend to submerge individuality and discourage originality. While we do not wish to standardize methods to the point that would in any way suppress originality, nevertheless we believe that there are certain practices and methods which, if followed by all station workers dealing with livestock production, would tend to make results from different stations more effective and at the same time more comparable one with another. The report of this committee as printed in the proceedings of 1921 has outlined some essential practices and methods that can well be followed. Modifications in the original report have been made from year to year. We recommend that the secretary of the Society so modify the original report that it will conform to the recommendations offered from time to time and print such modified report in the next annual proceedings. We recommend the following additions and changes in the report of 1921 to make it more applicable to present conditions:
