THE ENHANCING EFFECT OF T-2 TOXIN ON DELAYED HYPERSENSITIVITY IN MICE

Abstract
Fusarium solani T-2 toxin, 1 of chemically defined fungal metabolites, enhanced DH [delayed hypersensitivity] response to SRBC [sheep red blood cells] in mice. Effecting timing of toxin administration was different from that of CY [cyclophosphamide]. T-2 toxin seemed to interfere with influences of suppressor cells possibly generated in the DH response.
