Abstract
A highly integrable delta modulation codec design, for applications where transmission bandwidth is not at a premium but where an inexpensive and high quality converter is desired, is considered in this paper. An asymmetrical codec integrator is used to improve quantizing noise characteristics. Charge parceling techniques which are used for performing the integrating function, offer advantage over conventional RC integrators. Keywords
