Experimental Oscillator Strengths of CH and NH

Abstract
The radiative lifetimes of the A 2Δ and B 2Σ states of CH and the A 2II state of NH have been measured to be (5.6±0.6) 10—7, (1.0±0.4) 10—6, and (4.25±0.6) 10—7 sec, respectively. The oscillator strengths of the respective ground-state transitions were then calculated to be (4.9±0.5) 10—3, (1.2±0.4) 10—3, and (8.0±1.1) 10—3.Keywords
