Abstract
The theoretical expression of the power spectrum of laser light scattered by a ground‐glass rotating disk is investigated. In particular, it is shown that the coherence time is not always determined by the transit time of the disk through the illuminated area. The results of several measurements of the conditional probability of scattered light, which exhibit a good agreement with the theory, are presented. Keywords
