Abstract
The contribution to the membrane potential in frog skeletal muscle evoked by ionic pump activity was made up of 2 components. One was directly related to the electrogenic mode of pump action; the other, of similar magnitude, was an indirect effect due to K depletion in the lumen of the T[transverse]-tubular system. The extent of this depletion was estimated. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
