Abstract
Two enzymes which hydrolyze the artificial substrate o-nitro-phenyl-β-D-galactopyranoside are produced by Neurospora. These enzymes precipitate at widely different concentrations of ammonium sulfate and differ with respect to induction, pH optima, sedimentation, and thermal stability. Keywords
