Abstract
The occurrence of epididymitis in infants suggests the presence of urinary infection and the likelihood of an associated genitourinary structural abnormality, requiring complete urologic investigation. Testicular scanning and the ultrasonic stethoscope, coupled with an increased index of suspicion, permits non-operative diagnosis and management. This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
