Venography of the orbit: technique and anatomy

Abstract
A modified version of Vritsios technique (transcutaneous puncture of the frontal vein) was used along with radiography. Several superficial veine, frontal, nasal, angular and supraorbital, converge at the superointernal angle of the orbit; these vessels eventually give rise to the superior ophthalmic vein. Unlike the principal vessels, the collaterals are not all visualized at venography.
