Abstract
Nucleoli vary in their reaction with basic dyes as well as in digestion with enzymes, because apparently they are composed of ribonucleoproteins, containing varying percentages of nucleic acid. Their activity accompanies an intense synthesis of the cytoplasmic ribonucleic acids. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
