Abstract

1. In the absence of food, the duration of life of Drosophila pseudoobscura is greater at lower temperatures, greater humidities, and lower population densities studied. 2. With temperature, humidity, and population density being kept constant, Race A lives longer than Race B. These differences between the races is more pronounced at higher than at lower humidities.
