Abstract
Anaphylactic reactions to platinum compounds ring with carboplatin - with a near fatal outcome in 3 of the are well recognised, but uncommon. These vary from true cases. type I reactions to direct brief-reporthistamine release due to non-immunological mechanisms. We present 6 cases to illus-key words: anaphylaxis, carboplatin, cisplatin, hypersensi-trate this — 5 due to cisplatin and a report of this occurring with carboplatin — with a near fatal outcome in 3 of the cases. Keywords
