Control of Aphids on Spinach with Hexachlorocyclohexane1

Abstract
Insecticidal control of aphids on spinach is difficult because of the low growing character of the plants, and because injury occurs during the cooler part of the year when certain insecticides are relatively inactive. Among the insecticides given exptl. trial, hexachlorocyclohexane was most effective, probably because it kills not only by direct contact but also by fuming action.
