Abstract
Phenols undergo pentaarylation around the oxygen upon a single treatment with excess aryl bromides in the presence of a palladium catalyst system to produce 2-(1,1′-biphenyl-2-yl)-6-(1,1′:3′,1″-terphenyl-2′-yl)phenol derivatives. Keywords
