Abstract
A clinical study is presented of the influence of continuous intravenous norepinephrine therapy upon shock accompanying myocardial infarction. The significant reduction in immediate and eventual mortality rates usually associated with this condition are discussed. Complications are defined, and a possible first reported instance is presented of ventricular tachycardia developing in the presence of complete heart block during the administration of large doses of norepinephrine. Keywords
