Fluorescein Photography in Choroidal Sclerosis

Abstract
Fluorescein angiography was performed in two sisters with generalized choroidal angiosclerosis and in a patient with generalized albinism. Their common feature of diminution of retinal pigment allowed clear visualization of the choroidal vascular pattern. The patients with choroidal angiosclerosis showed absence of capillaries at the posterior pole with patchy atrophy of the surrounding choriocapillaris. This was in marked contrast to the albino patient who showed a prominent diffuse pattern of capillary filling in the arterial phase.
