Green's Studies of Linkage in Size Inheritance

Abstract

Green suggested that the slightly greater body size of certain color classes in a mouse cross was due to linkage between genes for coat color and genes for large body size. As an alternative explanation it is suggested that extra-chromosomal constituents of the gametes may be responsible for the observed correlations.
